Lily chose our next craft: Lady bug paper plates. This craft will take a couple of stages. Today we painted them. Later today or tomorrow we will cut out some black circles (or, more likely, I will cut out some black circles) and the kids will glue them on their ladybugs. We will probably add construction paper eyes, since the only googly eyes I have are pretty tiny. Instead of painting two plates black, I plan to cut a black triangle to glue on the top, or I may cut a wedge from the paper plate and the kids can glue a black circle to the bottom of the plate. I'll post some updates when we finish the project.
